This policy explains what information Doughnamics processes, where it is stored, and what choices you have.
No registration, personal profile, or login.
Your recipes, timers, and photos stay on your device.
No advertising and no first-party analytics.

02 Our privacy principle
Doughnamics is designed as an offline-first app. You do not need an account. A Complex World does not operate a proprietary backend for the app's core features and does not receive a copy of your recipes, favourites, timers, or photos.
As of the effective date above, the app contains no advertising SDK, first-party analytics system, or third-party crash-reporting system.
03 Information stored locally
Doughnamics stores the following information only in the app's local storage on your device:
- recipes and dough parameters that you create or edit,
- favourites and recently opened recipes,
- active and scheduled proofing timers,
- language settings and onboarding status,
- recipe photos you select or capture.
This information is not sent to A Complex World. You can remove it by deleting individual content within the app or by uninstalling the app. Depending on your iOS backup settings, Apple may include local app data in a device backup; Apple is independently responsible for that processing.
04 Optional permissions
Camera and photo library
If you choose to add a photo to a recipe, you may voluntarily use the camera or the iOS photo picker. Doughnamics only accesses these after you grant permission. The selected image is copied to the app's local documents directory and is not transmitted to A Complex World.
Local notifications
Doughnamics can schedule local notifications for proofing timers. Permission is requested only when you use a related feature. Notification content and timing are processed on your device; the app does not use an A Complex World push server.
Sharing
When you share a recipe, Doughnamics opens the share sheet provided by iOS. You choose which app or person receives the information. Any subsequent processing is governed by the selected recipient; A Complex World does not receive a copy.
You can change permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security or Notifications.
05 External services
Google Fonts
The current app version uses the Google Fonts Flutter package for part of its typography. If a required font file is not already available locally, the app may retrieve it from Google-hosted servers. This request transmits technically necessary connection data, particularly the IP address, to Google.
The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. A Complex World does not use this request for advertising or analytics and does not create user profiles from it. See Google's Privacy Policy for more information.
Apple App Store and operating-system services
Download, installation, optional device backups, permission prompts, and the iOS share sheet are provided by Apple. Apple may process information under its own responsibility. See Apple's Privacy Policy for details.
06 Visiting this privacy page
This website is delivered through Vercel. When you visit it, technically necessary server-log information may be processed, including IP address, date and time, requested file, referrer, browser type, and operating system. This processing is necessary to securely and reliably deliver the page.

The Doughnamics pages themselves do not set analytics or advertising cookies.
07 Your privacy rights
Where A Complex World processes personal data about you, and subject to applicable legal requirements, you may have rights including access, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing.
You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You may also lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority. To ask a question or exercise your rights, contact mail@a-complex-world.com.
Please note: because the app's core content stays locally on your device and is not linked to an account, A Complex World cannot view, export, or remotely delete that local information.
08 Changes to this policy
We will update this Privacy Policy if the app's features, technical services, or legal requirements change. The current version will remain available at acw.gmbh/doughnamics/privacy.
